SAN MIGUEL, El Salvador – Panama international Richard Dixon has signed a two-year deal with Aguila, the Salvadoran club announced Monday.

Dixon spent the 2016/17 season with Honduras’ Platense, appearing in 33 games and finishing as runner-up to Motagua in the 2016 Apertura.

Aguila, which will face Nicaragua’s Real Esteli in the inaugural Scotiabank CONCACAF League in August, reached the semifinals of the 2017 Clausura and has not won a league title since the 2012 Clausura

In addition to Platense, the 25-year-old Dixon has also played for Chorrillo FC and Sporting San Miguelito (both Panama), as well as Limon (Costa Rica).

He has earned eight Caps for Panama, including three during the current World Cup Qualifying cycle.
