PORTO, Portugal – Portuguese Primeira Liga side Boavista announced Monday the signing of Panama international Ricardo Clarke on a three-year contract.

The 24-year-old forward arrives after spending four seasons with Venezuela’s Zamora, winning multiple league titles, as well as competing in the Copa Libertadores (2014, 2015, 2017) and the Copa Sudamericana (2015, 2016).

Clarke, who is on Panama’s roster for the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup, has also played for Sporting San Miguelito (Panama, 2011-13) and Wellington Phoenix (New Zealand, 2012).

He made one appearance in the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League, going the entire way in a 1-0 loss to visiting Club America on August 7, 2013.
